" Continuous        Eyes "

❛  Mokumokuren(目々連) are yōkai in Japanese mythology. The name "Mokumokuren" literally means "many eyes" or "continuous eyes". The Mokumokuren usually live in torn shoji, although they can also be found in tatami floor mats and in walls. The Mokumokuren is considered by the Japanese to be one of the traditional inhabitants of haunted houses.  ❜

  Word of Mouth.   
One of two ways to find out about this group and their services is by word of mouth. Say you meet someone who happens to have hired them in the past- that person is then allowed to suggest, if you're also interested in hiring a service, that they accompany you to the base of Mokumokuren's operations. The person who previously hired Mokumokuren has to accompany you, else you won't be allowed in.  Meeting.   
One of two ways to find out about this group and their services is to meet a member. This is entirely up to the member themselves if they wish to indulge it, after following a secret set of guidelines set out for them. If they think you're interested in hiring them, the member will then escort you to the base.  Contract.   
After one of the above happens, you then sit down with the Oyabun himself to negotiate. In emergencies, his second in command may fill in, but- they both wear similar disguises, so you won't know who you're dealing with at any given time.  Time and Cost.   
Cost varies on information wanted. Half will need to be given upfront, half after the job is completed. Time will vary and it is calculated in the cost. Whichever member is chosen to do the contract, with approval of the Oyabun, will set their own price. There will be no contact during, only before and after.  Completion.   
Once completed, there will be a second meeting of exchange. After, you will be told that you're allowed to tell people about it, but to not let it fall on unwanted ears less you face the consequences. If you do find someone interested in hiring, you must accompany them to the base to prove you've had a previous contract.Mokumokuren does not restrict how many contracts one person can sign. If you have gil, they will take it.

  BIDDING.   
Once a month, there will be an event held where those who have hired Mokumokuren in the past, along with any of their friends and acquaintances, may attend. There will be varying degrees of information to bid on, each with their own descriptor so you have a vague sense of what you're buying.This is information that was either never paid for, specialized information that took an arduous amount of time and effort to obtain, or a specialized secret the Oyabun himself obtained.Those in attendance are expected to be disguised, as members of Mokumokuren always are, and are expected to go by pseudonyms, as members of Mokumokuren do.Any disruptions to the event before, during, or after the auction will be dealt with swiftly and without mercy.
